Our organic Après Ski collection comes in four unique colors, designed by nature, not dyes. In fact, every hue of our cashmere is determined by the geographical and climatic diversity of the Mongolian landscape, making each warm and vivid shade a gift from Mother Nature herself.

Beige

Taupe

These dark grey goats with dark brown hair graze in the high mountain and forest-steppe regions of Mongolia which affects their specialty long fiber and good viability. The region you can find these goats is the northern part of Mongolia, where it is semi-mountainous and one of the last Palearctic.

Off white

The pure white goats, usually of medium size, with sun-shaped horns, bright black crystal eyes, are well adapted to graze in the extremely hot and harsh climate of the Gobi Desert. Gobi Desert is a vast land that goes from southern Mongolia to northern China, where the weather is fluctuating from -38C in the winter to 42C in the summer.

Warm grey

Blue and grey goats are incredibly rare. Their warm grey cashmere can only be found in Mongolia making up only 2% of the country’s goat population, sparsely populating the western part.

In July 2021, GOBI Cashmere's cashmere yarns earned the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification. In February 2024, we achieved another major milestone by becoming the first Mongolian company to receive the same certification for finished garments. This certification ensures that all certified GOBI products — including garments and accessories — are free from harmful substances, safe for human use, and gentle on the skin, guaranteeing quality and safety at every stage of production. By continuously expanding and renewing our certified product range, GOBI leads the way in sustainable cashmere production, proudly showcasing Mongolian craftsmanship, innovation, and responsibility in every thread.

Since 2021, GOBI Cashmere has integrated Mongolian tradition with modern innovation through a robust ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. The system ensures that all processes–from raw material sourcing to final product–follow rigorous quality, environmental, and ethical requirements. Since 2021, GOBI Cashmere has proudly held the SFA Clean Fibre Processing Gold Level Certification, recognizing our leadership in sustainable cashmere production and responsible manufacturing. This achievement reflects our commitment to producing cashmere that is luxurious, ethical, and environmentally conscious. The Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) is a global non-profit organization that promotes responsible practices across the fibre supply chain. The Clean Fibre Processing Standard ensures that first-stage facilities wash and dehair raw cashmere while meeting the highest environmental, social, and chemical safety standards. At GOBI, we uphold these standards — blending Mongolian tradition, modern innovation, and sustainable excellence in every piece of cashmere.
