Four Ways to Show You Care
“There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.” - Michelle Obama
Women are at the heart of everything we do at GOBI. You’ll find a woman playing a pivotal role at every step of our production process, whether it’s taking care of our precious cashmere goats, spinning our fine yarn, designing our collections, or leading the way forward.
So, it’s important to us to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) with you.
To make this event even more memorable, we’re offering a sensational

When is International Women’s Day?
International Women’s Day may have started a century ago but it’s still going strong today. IWD is observed internationally on March 8.
The International Women’s Day 2023 theme is DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality, which we strongly believe in. Women are at the helm of our textile innovations and technology initiatives here at GOBI since our beginnings in 1981.
When did International Women’s Day start?
IWD can be traced to the early 20th century when women in many countries began campaigning for better working conditions, voting rights and gender equality. The first International Women's Day was observed on March 19, 1911, and since then it has become a significant day for women's rights and gender equality.
To get this celebration started, we wanted to present you with this guide on ways to observe IWD in style.
